My Journey
at a glimpse

Little did I know growing up, movement and music had always been my medicine. I would exercise and sweat to feel most right. Dancing throughout childhood, till that special day that live music came into my life. And became my life. I’ll never forget when I first experienced this profound magic at a live show. When the beat takes over every person in the crowd. Allowing us to feel, to let our hearts be seen. Creating a community within the movement of music. When the sound is so powerful it takes over my soul, grooves with my spirit, and brings ecstatic tears to my eyes.
This led me to festivals, endless gatherings. In love with seeing how communities can exist with such interconnection AND vulnerability, symbiotically. I studied Public Health and Sociology in college, feeding my interest in how to build healthy, vibrant, and connected societies. Similar to what we experience when the music binds us, yet wanting to discover deeper HOW this connection exists continuously...outside the container of a gathering. Since I innately knew our souls crave this bond to truly be seen and felt.
To Belong.
To be free.
To be love.

Within my undergrad, ever so gratefully, I found ecstatic dance. Wow. All that I loved at a festival, but a community that consciously co-created as a movement that is meditation, and ultimately medicine. A community that is growing throughout the world, in many cultures. And in most Tribal traditions, a ritual to dance. To meet the places unseen within. To fight the demons, let out the emotions, share the heart, and come home inside the body.
I graduated and knew it was time for me to be set free, on down to Central America. Simplifying, I released most material possessions. My backpack holding my world at the time. Letting go, creating space for inspiration. On a venture to find these societies in which the untamed spirit is welcome. Health prevails. Living within nature. Where diverse beings co-create genuine community. With my intention to make every day full of magic, holding trust of the Universe, guiding me on. And wow what a journey its been...
Wild, expansive, spontaneous, intense, incredible, and absolutely life altering!

My journey has opened my eyes to new discoveries, and ancient ways of living. Tribal culture breathing through me. Undoing, re-learning, re-imagining, and inspiring a new becoming. I lived in the jungle of Costa Rica, at PachaMama community, where I filled my soul with the path of Yoga. Since, I've been teaching along the way for 7 years to different funky, wild, and mystical communities from volcanic lands of Nicaragua, Hawaii and Guatemala, to the USA, and most recently, throughout Europe.

Currently I now reside in Berlin, Germany where I am here to make magic happen.

Always, rising with the sun to grow, expand, and learn through the lessons of Mother Nature. And through all the beautiful reflections of human beings I've encountered from all over the globe. Proving to me further what I already know...
Movement is the medicine.

My travels will continue. My heart will keep opening. My mind shall keep widening, wandering, and exploring. And all I can hope to do, is to help people bring out their light that I can feel moves through us all. I believe I always have so much to learn and access, and I’m delighted for all that is to come. Every day is a gift.

Lastly, what I know for certain is this:

Humanity as a culture needs to move.
We need to dance. Creatively act. Show our heart. Mindfully write. Feel our feet on the earth. Flow. Play outside. Feel the sun on bare skin. Pray. Honor the sacred. Share. Communicate our feelings. Laugh. Sing. Cry. Scream. LOVE. Let it all out. And find comfort to feel it, FEEL IT ALL. In the heart, mind, and soul.
The movement reflects our reality. Our dreams the reflection of what we create. The world is far from perfect, nor are we, but in our imperfections we can see the beauty whole. Let us express our soul of this universe with care, vulnerability, and compassion to make a change in which the world reflects the same.

Much love,
Crystal
